I was introduced to taxidermy at age 6, waterfowling at age 7, and have been addicted ever since. My mother knew somehow it would be my life at a early age because she allowed me to skip school to go duck hunting and trapping every chance I could get. She would tell me "As long as you pass this grade you can go because you can’t think of anything else". I spent the last 25 years guiding waterfowl, big game and upland game. My wife Maryjo and I own Wildlife Preservation Tech Taxidermy in Virginia Mn Specializing mainly in Avian taxidermy. I am currently on my 9th assignment/term as taxidermy program coordinator/ Instructor at Vermilion Community College in Ely Mn.
I always looked out the BIG window throughout my life and it shows. I developed the 5' "Goose master" decoy blind mid 80s. Continued on to building giant Sillo's for years to come. I recently started GunDog Decoys.
